She has taken numerous continuing education classes. She started as a personal trainer in 2000, now teaches Spin, Pilates, & CrossCore. She works with clients suffering from fibromyalgia, lupus, multiple sclerosis, scoliosis. She always looks forward to training clients pre and post pregnancy, and also has clients recovering from strokes. She works with all injury types including knee, hip, back, shoulder & neck. She was chosen as a LuluLemon Athletica ambassador in April 2012. She opened Core Concepts in April 2003 and has grown her business from 250 sf to 1400 sf. Her continued success and love for fitness and people makes the energy in her studio contagious.

Leslie grew up in Jupiter, Florida where she spent her youth playing sports, practicing gymnastics, and taking dance classes. In high school, she was introduced to Pilates while in a local dance company. After graduating from Indian River State College's of Nursing, she started taking Pilates lessons again in Palm Beach Gardens with Danielle Armstrong at Classical Pilates. Danielle introduced her to Lolita San Miguel and Leslie decided to enter into Lolita's Legacy, a Pilates teacher training program instructed by Lolita herself, the only person still living to have been certified by Joe Pilates! Leslie has a passion for Pilates and prides herself on being a 2nd Generation Instructor. She contacted Carianne Sica at Core Concepts Pilates Studio in 2013 and instantly fell in love and became part of the family. Leslie helps Carianne manage her studio and teaches Pilates, CrossCore, and Palm Beach Barre.

A former dancer, training and development expert, and exercise enthusiast, Angela developed Palm Beach BARRE after being introduced to a barre exercise program in California. After seeing dramatic changes in her body in a short period of time, she was hooked & knew, immediately, that she wanted to introduce this form of exercise to the Palm Beaches, upon her return. She continued training and studying the technique while in California, delving deeply into its roots, which stem from the Lotte Berk Method and Callanetics, and studying the different variations being taught in many metropolitan areas. Infusing her own knowledge and creative style, and pooling from her dance background, Angela developed and introduced Palm Beach BARRE in 2011. Priding herself on attention to detail, proper alignment, and form, Angela offers her clients an unparalleled one-on-one experience in Private and Semi-Private sessions and strives to give her clients as much individual attention within a group setting as possible. Palm Beach BARRE group classes are deliberately limited in size so that personal attention is allocated to each participant. Angela is proud to have merged and joined forces with Core Concepts, and is excited to continue to share Palm Beach BARRE which her current clients, as well as introduce and share her passion with as many new faces as possible.

From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a teacher, but didn't know what I would teach. As a former Education and Dance major, I was able to combine both of my passions. After leaving the dance world, I found Pilates and soon became an instructor with Classical Pilates Education. Now, I hope to share my knowledge of Pilates found in comprehensive training with others. Being a former dancer, I also have a passion for Barre! In my free time, I like to read, go to yoga and Pilates classes, travel, and play with my 7 younger siblings! I'm so excited to be a part of the Core Concepts Family and look forward to meeting you all!

In 2011, I retired after 38 wonderful years of teaching Physical Education and as you might guess, have been physically active and engaged in sports and fitness throughout my life. I entered the world of Pilates upon the suggestion of my daughter and immediately appreciated all the benefits it provides. Proudly, my practice has just passed its 5-year anniversary. I believe in an inclusive repertoire of fitness activities and thus include yoga, spinning, cross-core, Barre, tap, and now Dragon boating to my weekly schedule. I hold Peak Pilates Level 1 mat and Spinning(needs trademark) instructor certifications. I am excited to be included in the Core Concepts instructor family and enthusiastically welcome you to join me in my classes regardless of your age or fitness level. I believe in teaching through the basic principles that span all genres of fitness and have every confidence that through sound practice, patience, some sweat and maybe a few sore muscles you will achieve your fitness goals. Then, of course, you will be ready to set new ones!!
